DUPR Ratings & the 3.5+ Skill Verification Policy
A verified rating is required to play 3.5+ Open Play and clinics.
Overview
To maintain fair, competitive play, The Pickle Lodge requires a verified skill rating for 3.5+ Mixed Open Plays, 3.5+ Women's Open Plays, and 3.5+ clinics (Rally with a Pro, PROpen Play, etc.). You qualify with either a DUPR rating of 3.5+, or a club rating from a certified OPA instructor at The Pickle Lodge.

As the community has grown, this keeps games competitive and enjoyable at popular levels like 3.5, rather than excluding anyone.

What To Expect
If your DUPR is 3.5+ but you can't sign up, it's usually just not connected to CourtReserve yet — your name has to match exactly between the two systems (see the connection walkthrough at youtube.com/shorts/MLWZVsb3hr4). No DUPR yet? Book a 30-minute rating session in the app (Home → Book a Lesson or Rating Session) for $30 before membership discounts — instructors evaluate consistency, movement, strategy, and game play, not perfection.
