Ohio Pickle Lodge Academy (OPA) Clinics
The Lodge's instructional program, for every age and level.
Overview
The Pickle Lodge's instructional program is the Ohio Pickle Lodge Academy (OPA), organized into three categories: Kids & Teens, Beginners, and Adults.
Kids & Teens: Pickleball 101 for Kids and Study Hall & Recess, plus the flagship Queen City Sevens competitive youth club. A weekly summer camp clinic runs Mon–Fri, 2–4pm, divided into Little Hodgkins (7–13) and Big Hodgkins (14+); register by the day or for a discounted full week.
Beginners: Pickleball 101 (repeatable as many times as needed before moving on) and Coached Open Play (2.0+), which bridges instruction and open play with an instructor guiding rotation etiquette and light in-session coaching.
Adults: Rally with a Pro (3 players + 1 OPA instructor for an hour of constructive play), skill-based clinics (two courts, up to 8 participants, focused on one skill like backhands, footwork, serve/return, drops, volleys, or dinking), Teach the Teachers (a week-long summer camp for educators), plus occasional one-off/specialty clinics.
